Congratulations to Our PTSA Board!
On May 12 a new PTSA board was elected. Please welcome our new and returning board members!
The TPMS PTSA 2026-2027 Board as elected, is:

Becca Albertus-Jones and Monisha Shah will not be returning as board members, though you can still find them around the school community. Both have been instrumental in creating programming for our meetings, providing guidance on our board activities, putting the student voice into the PTSA, and ensuring that the board seats are occupied by the dream team! Thank you, Becca and Monish, for your support through the year! You will be missed.

8th Graders Only: Save the Date!
The PTSA will launch our 8th graders into orbit between 7-9 p.m. on Friday, June 12, at Takoma Park Middle School. The “To the Moon Disco Party” will offer pizza, drinks, and space-themed snacks alongside a blacklight party featuring a live DJ, glow gear, and a photo booth to capture the moment. To be inclusive of all, we’ll be hosting a sensory-friendly chill zone, sponsored by xMinds. The PTSA still needs a flight crew to help set-up, chaperone, and break down the event. ¡Solo para alumnos de 8.º grado: Reserven la fecha!
La PTSA lanzará a nuestros alumnos de 8.º grado a la órbita el viernes 12 de junio, entre las 7:00 y las 9:00 p. m., en la Takoma Park Middle School. La «Fiesta Disco: ¡Rumbo a la Luna!» ofrecerá pizza, bebidas y aperitivos con temática espacial, junto con una fiesta bajo luz negra que contará con un DJ en vivo, accesorios luminosos y un fotomatón para inmortalizar el momento. Para garantizar la inclusión de todos, habilitaremos una zona de descanso sensorialmente amigable, patrocinada por xMinds. La PTSA aún necesita una «tripulación de vuelo» que ayude con el montaje, la supervisión y el desmontaje del evento. ቤካ አልበርተስ-ጆንስ እና ሞኒሻ ሻህ እንደ የቦርድ አባል አይመለሱም፣ ምንም እንኳን በትምህርት ቤቱ ማህበረሰብ ዙሪያ አሁንም ማግኘት ቢችሉም። ሁለቱም ለስብሰባዎቻችን ፕሮግራም በማውጣት፣ በቦርድ እንቅስቃሴዎቻችን ላይ መመሪያ በመስጠት፣ የተማሪዎችን ድምጽ በPTSA ውስጥ በማስገባት እና የቦርድ መቀመጫዎች በህልም ቡድኑ እንዲያዙ በማረጋገጥ ረገድ ትልቅ ሚና ተጫውተዋል! ቤካ እና ሞኒሽ፣ ዓመቱን ሙሉ ላደረጋችሁልን ድጋፍ እናመሰግናለን! ታጣላችሁ።

PTSA የ8ኛ ክፍል ተማሪዎቻችንን አርብ፣ ሰኔ 12፣ በታኮማ ፓርክ መካከለኛ ደረጃ ትምህርት ቤት ከቀኑ 7-9 ሰዓት መካከል ወደ ምህዋር ያስጀምራል። “ወደ ጨረቃ ዲስኮ ፓርቲ” ፒዛ፣ መጠጦች እና የጠፈር ጭብጥ ያላቸው መክሰስ ከጥቁር ብርሃን ድግስ ጋር የቀጥታ ዲጄ፣ የፍላይት ማርሽ እና የፎቶ ዳስ ያቀርባል። ሁሉንም ለማካተት፣ በxMinds የተደገፈ የስሜት ህዋሳት ተስማሚ የሆነ የማቀዝቀዣ ዞን እናዘጋጃለን። PTSA አሁንም ዝግጅቱን ለማዘጋጀት፣ ለመከታተል እና ለማብራራት የሚረዳ የበረራ ቡድን ይፈልጋል። በዚህ ሊንክ በኩል ለፓርቲው የሚገኙ መቀመጫዎችን እዚህ ማግኘት ይችላሉ።
