Showcase your family’s culture or country of origin! This is an expo-style showcase event with table displays, foods or treats representative of the culture, and performances by students and/or families.
Students Tap here to Sign up to:
- Give a 5 Minute (or less) Performance*
- Create a Table Display*
- Bring Food to Share – prepare small portion items, treats and drinks.
*Students will earn SSL hours for creating displays or giving a performance.
Parents & Caregivers sign up to: (This sign up sheet will be coming soon)
- Help set up
- Help cleanup
- Bring a special item, like a coffee or tea ceremony.
What to expect:
- 5:00 – Families with performances or table displays arrive to setup their tables.
- 6:00 – Doors open for families. Meet the table display presenters. Be sure to ask lots of questions.
- 7:00 – Performances begin. 5 minute performances.
- 8:00 – Event ends. Cleanup begins.
Information for performers:
- To accomodate many performers, performances should be no longer than 5 minutes.
- Requests for tips or compensation is not permitted.
- If you have Music to played during the performance, you must submit it to <this info coming soon> so that we will have it ready for your performance.
Information for table displays:
- If you need a tri-fold presentation board, you can get one for free from the Main Office.
