Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends,
I am writing to ask you to join me in donating to the Takoma Thrives fundraising appeal. Takoma Thrives is our annual major fundraising event by the PTA for TPMS. Takoma Thrives is our slogan for the appeal and our goals for our school.
Through Takoma Thrives we are:
- giving Three Hours for Takoma as volunteers
- Honoring our staff
- Reaching new heights
- Investing in our community
- being a Voice for our children
- making sure Every parent counts
- and showing our School spirit.
Our contributions will help reach the goal of $5,500. Last year Takoma Thrives raised $4,836 from the community. Those contributions helped support the Sixth Grade Picnic, the Eighth Grade Graduation gifts, Mini-Grants to the GSA, Real Food for Kids Culinary Program, the Takoma Park Early Career Program and the Star Student Awards to name a few and staff appreciation events such as Magical Mondays. The funds will also help sponsor the upcoming Community Event on May 10th.
